NEVER STOPS
Every finish line tells a story of strength, grit, perseverance, and conquest. For SCORE Marathon 2026, we want to celebrate the spirit of the conqueror, the unstoppable drive to challenge limits, push through hurdles to break barriers, and keep moving forward to achieve their own goals. Because once you start, the journey never truly ends. From first-timers to seasoned runners, there is a distance for everyone: 5KM, 10KM, 21KM, and 42KM.

OUR JOURNEY
IN NUMBERS
What started as a small community run in 2014 has grown into one of Malaysia’s most recognised marathons. Each year our runners, supporters, and volunteers have contributed to a journey measured not just in numbers, but in strength, perseverance, and the spirit of community:

PURPOSE
We believe that running can create a positive footprint. That’s why SCORE Marathon is committed to sustainability and giving back to the community. Small steps can lead to meaningful impact, and here’s how we put that belief into action.
SUSTAINABILITY
We aim to reduce our environmental footprint and create a greener marathon experience for everyone.
Our sustainability efforts include:
Reducing single-use plastics: At least 50,000 single-use plastic items will be eliminated during the 2026 Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC), with T-shirts distributed without plastic packaging.
Bring Your Own Bag initiative: Participants are encouraged to bring their own bags when collecting their race packs at the REPC.
Eco-friendly medals: In 2025, each finisher medal was made from recycled plastic, saving 42 grams of plastic from landfills and oceans and reducing 6.2 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent compared to traditional medals. This sustainable approach will continue in 2026 as part of our ongoing commitment to reducing environmental impact.
CHARITY
Beyond the race, we want every participant to be part of something bigger.
Your participation helps support meaningful causes through the following initiatives:
Event bags for a cause: Proceeds from the sale of event bags at the REPC are donated to Rumah K.I.D.S, an organisation that supports underprivileged children. During SCORE Marathon 2025, participants helped raise RM6,163, with all proceeds fully contributed to the charity’s programmes. In 2026, we aim to continue this initiative—turning every bag sold into a step toward a brighter future for children in need.
